Supervisor Microbiology- Environmental Monitoring and Hygiene (80-100%)
Our Environmental Monitoring & Hygiene team is at the heart of ensuring product quality and patient safety in our aseptic manufacturing environment. As supervisor you will drive microbiological excellence and lead a dedicated team responsible for environmental monitoring and hygiene oversight that ensure GMP compliance across the site.
To strengthen our dedicated team, we are looking for a people-oriented and quality-driven personality to join us at our site near Winterthur starting as soon as possible or by agreement as Supervisor Microbiology
- Environmental Monitoring & Hygiene (80-100%).
- Lead and develop the Microbiology Environmental Monitoring & Hygiene team.
- Oversee environmental monitoring activities, data trending, and microbiological investigations.
- Ensure site-wide hygiene and aseptic standards through training, guidance, and compliance monitoring.
- Coordinate and evaluate aseptic processing simulations (media fills).
- Support GMP compliance through risk assessments, change controls, CAPAs, and deviation management.
- Provide technical support and oversight to site CAPEX and quality projects
- Degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related life sciences discipline.
- Experience in environmental monitoring, microbiological quality control, or aseptic manufacturing in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Sound understanding of microbiological processes, hygiene concepts, and cleanroom operations.
- Experience investigating microbiological deviations and supporting CAPAs and change controls.
- Fluent in German and comfortable working in English
- Lead a highly specialized microbiology team in an FDA/EU-GMP regulated environment.
- Shape microbiological quality standards for life-changing ophthalmic products.
- Drive continuous improvement in aseptic manufacturing and contamination control.
