Mandarin Oriental Palace Luzern is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Food & Beverage team.

As a key member of the F&B division, you will oversee the daily operations of our all-day dining restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards, leading a diverse team, and creating memorable dining experiences for every guest.

• Lead the team and ensure smooth, guest-oriented work processes in close cooperation with all departments.
• Provide feedback and training to the team.
• Offer professional advice and customer care to our guests.
• Maintain excellent product and sales knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with our high standards of service.
• Communicate current offers in the department and throughout the house.
• Responsible for correct accounting of your department.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene regulations and cleanliness according to HACCP guidelines.
• Project and task management.

• Completed vocational training in the upscale hotel or catering industry; prior experience in a similar role.
• Expressiveness, open-mindedness, and team spirit.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to handle complaints and positive feedback.
• Leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to lead a culturally diverse team with sensitivity and discipline.
• High quality awareness and a sense for trends.
• Good IT skills; knowledge of the Infrasys cash register system and the Seven Rooms booking system is advantageous.
• Excellent manners, well-groomed appearance, and a positive charisma.
• Flexibility and resilience; the role includes night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Very good knowledge of German and English. Additional foreign languages are a plus.

Als Assistant Restaurant Manager:in sind Sie für die folgenden Aufgaben verantwortlich:

• Leitung des Teams und Sicherstellung reibungsloser und gästeorientierter Arbeitsabläufe im Restaurant in enger Zusammenarbeit mit allen Abteilungen des Hauses.
• Feedback und Schulung Ihres Teams.
• Professionelle Beratung und Betreuung unserer Gäste.
• Ausgezeichnete Produkt- und Verkaufskenntnisse.
• Einhaltung und Sicherstellung unserer hohen Servicestandards.
• Kommunikation aktueller Angebote in der Abteilung und im gesamten Haus.
• Verantwortung für die korrekte Abrechnung Ihrer Abteilung.
• Verantwortung für die Einhaltung der Hygienevorschriften und Sauberkeit im Rahmen der HACCP-Richtlinien.
• Projekt- und Aufgaben management.

• Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung im gehobenen Hotel- oder Gaststättengewerbe;
  Berufserfahrung in einer ähnlichen Position.
• Ausdrucksstärke, Aufgeschlossenheit und Teamgeist.
• Schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten – Gäste wenden sich mit Beschwerden und positivem Feedback an Sie.
• Führungsqualitäten, organisatorische Fähigkeiten und die Fähigkeit, ein Team von Mitarbeitern aus verschiedenen Kulturen mit Feingefühl und Disziplin zu leiten.
• Hohes Qualitätsbewusstsein und Gespür für Trends.
• Gute IT-Kenntnisse;
  Kenntnisse des Kassensystems Infrasys und des Buchungssystems Seven Rooms wären von Vorteil.
• Ausgezeichnete Umgangsformen und gepflegtes Äußeres sowie eine positive Ausstrahlung.
• Flexibilität und Belastbarkeit – Ihre Position umfasst Nacht-, Wochenend- und Feiertagsschichten.
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse; zusätzliche Fremdsprachenkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.
