Your mission is to transform critical data into a trusted, harmonized, and AI‑ready asset that enables business transformation, trusted analytics, and operational excellence. Operating at the intersection of business, data, and technology, you will define global standards, governance frameworks, and data ownership models across key domains such as customer, supplier, and material data.

A key part of your role will be chairing the Global Data Council, aligning senior stakeholders across business and IT, and ensuring that data across domains—such as customer, supplier, and complex product structures—is consistent, high quality, and fit for purpose.

What You Will Do
  • Chair the Global Data Council, setting enterprise‑wide data priorities, defining data quality standards, and driving alignment across business and IT stakeholders.
  • Lead the enterprise Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM) organization within a hub‑and‑spoke operating model.
  • Define and deliver the Data Governance & MDM vision, strategy and multi‑year roadmap, aligned with the broader Data, Analytics & AI agenda.
  • Establish and enforce global master data standards, processes, and ownership frameworks across key enterprise domains.
  • Ensure master data is managed as a strategic enterprise asset by driving continuous improvement in data quality.
  • Own and evolve the Master Data Management landscape, ensuring scalability, integration across enterprise systems, and readiness for AI‑enabled stewardship.
  • Drive enterprise‑wide data ownership and behavioural change by embedding accountability for data into business processes.
  • Enable AI‑ and analytics‑ready data capabilities by advancing data cataloguing, metadata management, and modern stewardship approaches.
What we require
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), or enterprise data management.
  • Proven leadership experience in matrix organizations, including managing distributed teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in SAP S/4

HANA transformation programmes, including data governance, data migration, and data readiness.
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and a strong understanding of enterprise data architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, master data lifecycle management, and end‑to‑end data processes.
  • Experience managing complex master data domains (e.g., material, customer, supplier).
  • Solid understanding of complex product structures, including Variant Configuration (VC/AVC).
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic design and hands‑on execution of data governance initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior business and IT leaders.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Proven track record in driving data ownership, stewardship, and organizational accountability models.
What we prefer
  • Experience with data quality, data migration, or master data tools such as Syniti, MDG, Informatica, or similar platforms.
  • Background in manufacturing or industrial environments, with exposure to PLM, production systems, or product lifecycle complexity.
  • Understanding of data readiness for AI and advanced analytics use cases.
  • Experience leading data cleansing or remediation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence and present at Executive Committee or senior leadership level.
What we offer
  • Best opportunities in a globally operating company with a family business culture.
  • Attractive salary package.
  • Development opportunities.
  • Employee support program.
  • Additional benefits such as free parking and an on‑site restaurant.
