At the Nidecker Group, you’ll join a global leader in action sports, bringing together iconic brands across the snowboarding and outdoor industries. Amid a period of rapid digital transformation, our Data team structures and leverages data to support decision‑making at all levels of the group.
During this internship, you’ll act as a bridge between our Data Engineer and business stakeholders. You’ll contribute to the full data lifecycle—from gathering business requirements to developing and delivering Power BI dashboards—helping turn data into actionable insights that support decision‑making across the group. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands‑on exposure to how data is structured, analyzed, and leveraged across the business, while benefiting from mentorship and continuous learning opportunities.

Business Needs Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Sales/Marketing, and Operations to understand their challenges and identify key KPIs
- Translate business needs into clear, structured functional specifications
- Support the prioritization of requests in coordination with the Data Engineer and management
- Create intuitive dashboard mockups and prototypes tailored to different user groups
- Develop and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Ensure high‑quality data visualizations by optimizing performance, usability, and design
- Act as the key point of contact between business teams and the technical data team
- Lead feedback sessions, validate deliverables, and iterate based on user input
- Maintain and continuously improve existing dashboards to reflect evolving business needs
- Contribute to data documentation and support the development of a structured data catalog
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, or a related field (engineering or business school with a data/digital focus)
- Initial experience with Power BI or a similar BI tool (Tableau, Looker, Qlik); knowledge of DAX is a plus
- Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals and data modeling concepts (joins, views, fact/dimension tables, keys)
- Strong interest in data analysis, business intelligence, and data visualization
- Strong proficiency in Excel and good command of Power Point
- Comfortable translating business needs into structured requirements and working with KPIs across departments (Finance, Sales/Marketing, Operations)
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and focused on delivering clear, actionable insights
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non‑technical stakeholders
- Curious, proactive, and solution‑oriented, with good organizational skills and autonomy
- Team player, comfortable working in a collaborative and cross‑functional environment
- Fluency in French is required; business‑level English is needed as you’ll be in an international environment
