Project: To join a leading Swiss organisation, we are looking an experienced Cloud & Automation
Engineer to support the engineering and operation of shared Kubernetes platforms based on AWS
EKS and Azure AKS.
Your Tasks:
- Engineer and operate shared Kubernetes platforms based on EKS and AKS
- Enable application teams to deploy and run their applications on the platform
- Maintain and further develop Kubernetes add-ons
- Optimise platform and cloud costs
- Contribute to security hardening
- Support audits and compliance initiatives
- Participate in on-call duties
Required
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience in an enterprise environment
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Good knowledge of Terraform, YAML and ideally Golang
- Experience with Git Ops, Git Hub and Git Hub Actions
- Knowledge of Helm and Kustomize
- Experience with tools such as Argo CD, Kyverno, Karpenter, Cilium and Grafana
- A structured, independent and delivery-oriented approach
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties
Languages:
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- German is an advantage
