In this role you will perform preventive and reactive maintenance related to the infrastructure, manage sub-contractors and form an active part of a successful team that is committed to success.

• Under the direction of the Data Center Operations Engineering Supervisor, perform preventive and reactive maintenance related to the infrastructure
• Perform daily inspection site rounds
• Utilize the maintenance management system to ensure accuracy of data at all times
• Monitor alarm systems and react to any alarms raised
• Perform small repairs
• Manage sub-contractors and ensure they follow rules set by Equinix
• Perform and follow up visual checks
• On-Call service will be required (1 week/2 month)
• Work in shift rotation
• Understand, apply and enforce health and safety rules

• Electrical or Mechanical (Plumbing, Air conditioning or similar) Diploma with proven years of experience
• Experience with critical infrastructure
• Be able to perform small repairs (Electrical, mechanical and plumbing)
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings
• Familiar with computing/electronics tools to monitor the site (BMS, displays, etc...)
• Familiar with Office Pack (Word, Excel, etc...)
• Good in German and English (written/spoken)
• Being able to communicate in an efficient way, even during stressful situations, to provide clear written reports and establish clear processes
• Flexible (On-Call)
• Driving license

In dieser Funktion führen Sie präventive und reaktive Wartungsarbeiten an der Infrastruktur durch, verwalten Subunternehmer und sind aktiver Teil eines erfolgreichen Teams, das sich dem Erfolg verpflichtet fühlt.

• Durchführung von vorbeugenden und reaktiven Wartungsarbeiten unter der Leitung des Data Center Operations Engineering Supervisors
• Durchführung von täglichen Inspektionsrundgängen
• Nutzung des Wartungsmanagementsystems, um jederzeit die Genauigkeit der Daten zu gewährleisten
• Überwachung der Alarmsysteme und Reaktion auf ausgelöste Alarme
• Durchführung von kleinen Reparaturen
• Verwaltung unserer Subunternehmer und Sicherstellung der Einhaltung der von Equinix festgelegten Regeln
• Durchführung und Nachverfolgung visueller Kontrollen
• Bereitschaftsdienst erforderlich (1 Woche alle zwei Monate)
• Arbeiten im Schichtwechsel
• Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsvorschriften verstehen, anwenden und durchsetzen

• Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Lehre im Bereich der Elektroinstallation oder HKL, sowie nachweisliche Berufserfahrung
