Clinical Packaging Technician

For one of our clients, an international pharmaceutical company, we are seeking a Clinical Packaging Technician.

• Perform all tasks related to clinical packaging while following appropriate health and safety guidelines (using personal protective equipment as required), adhering to the work order instructions and SOPs.
• Insure that each component or bulk material used in the packaging of a product is properly identified, not expired, weighed (when appropriate), verified throughout processing and corresponds to the written information on the work order before proceeding to the next step.
• Verify before using that equipment calibration date has not been exceeded.
• Sign and date utilization charts and all critical packaging steps in the work order documentation.
• Perform quality verification and equipment challenge tests. In addition carry out all the periodic quality inspections during the packaging process in order to ensure that the integrity and efficacy of the final product.
• Work with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position.

• Good communication skills-both written and verbal
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft applications
• Self motivated and able to work independently
