Position: Global OE Specialist - Lean (a), 100%
Location: Bubendorf

Your responsibilities

  • Lead and/or support high‑impact Lean initiatives across sites and functions (manufacturing, supply chain, quality interfaces, and transactional processes)
  • Own, deploy, and continuously improve Lean systems and standards (e.g. Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, SMED, Visual Management, TPM foundations) within the global OE operating model
  • Drive end‑to‑end value‑stream optimization to improve flow, increase throughput, and reduce lead time from demand to delivery
  • Enable systematic identification and elimination of losses and waste in direct and indirect processes, including bottleneck analysis and flow‑based optimization
  • Ensure Lean initiatives translate into robust problem‑solving actions, standardization, and sustainable control mechanisms
  • Provide hands‑on on‑site and remote support for continuous improvement events, value‑stream transformations, and stabilization phases
  • Build Lean capability by coaching site leadership, OE Business Partners, and OE Champions in Lean leadership behaviors and practical application of Lean methods
  • Contribute to the OE Academy through development and delivery of Lean trainings, role‑based curricula, and sharing of best practices across the global OE community
  • Support OE governance and portfolio execution through maturity assessments, standard adherence, clear baselining, and tracking of sustainable benefits
  • Collaborate closely with other Global OE Specialists to integrate approaches and ensure a coherent, non‑fragmented OE system
Your Profile
  • University degree in chemistry, engineering, pharmaceutical or natural sciences, or a related field
  • At least 5 years professional experience in Lean deployment, operational excellence, and/or continuous improvement roles, ideally in CDMO/CMO, chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
  • Professional experience in GMP regulated environments is a advantage
  • Proven track record leading value‑stream transformations and delivering measurable improvements in flow, lead time, and productivity
  • Lean certification preferred (e.g. Lean Leader, Lean Expert, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with strong Lean focus). Exposure to Master Black Belt concepts is a plus
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder‑management skills across cultures and seniority levels
  • Ability to translate Lean standards into practical application and enable adoption at scale
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1) and German (C1) is mandatory
  • Willingness to travel approx. 10–30%, depending on footprint and project pipeline, for global coordination, training delivery, and site support
