For one of our international industrial clients, we are currently looking for a Pilot Production Technician with expertise in formulation and scale‑up, for a 12‑month temporary assignment based in Münchwilen (AG).

Your responsibilities

Working across pilot plant and laboratory environments, you will:

  • Perform formulation development and scale‑up activities in a pilot production setting
  • Manufacture small‑scale batches (field trial samples, GLP batches, process optimization studies)
  • Prepare, set up, operate, and clean pilot production equipment
  • Carry out first‑line maintenance of pilot plant and laboratory equipment
  • Contribute to the optimization of processes, equipment, and formulation techniques
  • Accurately record experimental data and ensure full traceability

You will collaborate closely with engineering and technical teams to plan and execute development trials efficiently.

  • Strict adherence to HSE and quality standards
  • Participation in process risk assessments
  • Work across both pilot plant and laboratory environments
  • Close collaboration with engineering and production teams
Your profile
  • Technical background in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field
  • Experience in pilot plant, chemical production, formulation, or process environments
  • Solid understanding of process equipment and unit operations
  • Experience with scale‑up or process development
  • Strong awareness of HSE and quality standards in industrial environments
  • Ability to work independently, accurately, and in a structured manner
  • German: minimum B1 level required (must‑have)
