Position: E-Commerce Performance and SEO Manager
Location: Bioggio

Reporting directly to the Chief Digital Officer, the E-Commerce Web Marketing, CRO & SEO Manager is responsible for creating and implementing online marketing strategies to increase sales and revenue for Guess e-commerce website. He/she will maximize the technical and creative opportunities afforded by the breadth of Web-based static and social marketing in order to attract customers to the brand.

The role will deal with media buying, social networking and search engine optimization to maintain a client base and seek new clients. Moreover, the role has to drive direction out of ambiguity and question the status quo to get more out of marketing campaigns and website contents; he/she knows how to create a sense of urgency for customers.

Another task will be the supervision of the entire Web Marketing team and all the activities performed by it.

Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for acquiring partners and clients as well as retaining the old clients
  • Evaluate and track the different online marketing initiatives, in accordance with the Vice President E-Commerce EMEA
  • Manage the Web Marketing, CRO and SEO team and support the marketing objectives, by aiding in broadening the horizons of the company
  • Be accountable for leading the inbound marketing strategies by creating unique content
  • Formulate the best search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) practices, website development, online advertising as well as the content to drive revenue and new customers
  • Achieve best practices for conversion rate optimization (CRO) throughout all traffic channels (paid and non-paid) and on-site implementations
  • Manage all the aspects of online marketing strategies, programs and oversee the ad campaigns
  • Perform the tests consistently so as to optimize the results based on the revenue goals outlined by the organization
  • Drive the search engine optimization programs and make sure that the sites are ranked high for the valued set of keywords
  • Drive and develop email marketing programs, performances and make recommendations if any additional online marketing programs need to be implemented
  • Keep a track and subsequently report the key operational metrics that include traffic, performance, etc.
  • Procure assets from various resources and apply latest knowledge related to web standards, content and messaging
  • Manage the online promotions that include participation in various competitions, subscription drives, etc.
  • Manage the online web‑marketing budget and oversee monthly planning and budgeting for media placements, with a daily and weekly tracking
  • Supervise and elaborate editorial and commercial texts creation for website contents and Email Marketing
  • Recommend and implement possible content changes and improvements for SEO purposes, supporting also Merchandising team
  • Work in close coordination with the marketing and creative teams to ensure that all the online marketing activities comply with the policies and standards laid down by the organization
  • Quickly identify and react to challenges and opportunities, in order to reach sales and ROI targets
  • Provide inputs into web design and navigation, so as to improve the retention as well as the conversion of site visitors
  • Develop ad hoc qualitative and quantitative analysis, for instance:
    • Weekly/monthly/yearly performance reports, by Country, Web‑Marketing Channel and Device
    • ROI analysis, monitoring and analyzing actual vs budget data and Web‑Marketing KPIs, by Country, Channel and Device
    • Promotion redemption, by Country
    • Weekly reports of product categories’ performances in order to support merchandising actions based on KPIs like  , CTR, Visits, etc.
  • Special Projects:
    • Coordinate, from Ecommerce side, integration with CRM property database
    • Coordinate, from Ecommerce side, Email Provider tools for custom audiences
    • Coordinate, from Ecommerce side, Analytics Tool Implementation, Integration and possible Migrations
Qualifications
  • At least 8 years experience in web‑marketing and CRO environment
  • At least 8 years experience in SEO and analytics Tools such as Google Analytics, Google Trends, SEM Rush, Adobe Omniture and Google Search Console
