We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team at the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern, an iconic Belle‑Époque landmark that provides a world‑class luxury experience.
About the JobAs Marketing & Communications Manager, you will support the execution of the marketing strategy in alignment with the global framework of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. You will contribute to the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns and support the creation of marketing materials across digital and print channels. Additionally, you will coordinate content projects such as photo and video shoots, press trips, influencer relations activities, and assist in the execution of events, brand activations and partnerships.
You report to the Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications.
- Develop and implement the marketing strategy in alignment with the global framework.
- Manage all digital channels, including website, SEO, SEA, email/newsletter marketing, OTA platforms and social media.
- Produce cross‑functional marketing materials across digital and print channels in collaboration with external design partners.
- Contribute to the delivery of marketing campaigns designed to achieve communication, brand and commercial objectives.
- Coordinate photoshoots, video productions, press trips and wider content projects; hands‑on content creation skills, including photography, short‑form video and social‑media reels, an advantage.
- Manage and support influencer relations, including proactive outreach, creator profiling, events and collaborations.
- Assist in the organisation of hotel events, brand activations and partnership initiatives.
- Degree or vocational qualification in Marketing, Communications, Tourism, Hospitality or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in marketing, social media, PR or graphic design, ideally within a global premium brand.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Strong interest in design, graphics and brand aesthetics; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is an advantage.
- Strong project management skills, including briefing, milestone planning, timeline management and reporting, combined with conceptual thinking and high standards of quality, initiative and creativity.
