Communications Manager

• Develop the corporate communications strategy across internal and external channels
• Strengthen Planted's public profile, reputation, and employee engagement
• Own media content and channels, including press releases, media distribution lists, press pages, and photo and video assets
• Coordinate media visits at company locations
• Increase the visibility of the company and its executives through speaking engagements and targeted communications initiatives
• Lead and develop internal communications, guidelines, and channels
• Provide operational leadership for consumer services across all markets
• Ensure consistent communications standards and efficient handling processes
• Manage Google Reviews and advise social media and local market teams
• Support content approvals and address questions relating to communications governance
• Support the company-wide crisis communications team in assessment, escalation, messaging, and cross-market coordination
• Coordinate quality-related consumer cases with Quality Assurance
• Ensure transparent, aligned, and timely resolutions

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a comparable field
• 5-8 years of experience in corporate communications
• Extensive experience in media relations, including serving as a media spokesperson, proactive story pitching, and crisis communications
• Experience in cross-market product communications
• Experience collaborating with PR agencies and regional stakeholders
• Proven ability to develop and manage corporate messaging, positioning, and key communications materials
• Demonstrated, targeted use of AI to increase personal productivity and quality of work
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
• French or Italian is a plus
• Willingness to take ownership and proactively drive initiatives forward
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a pragmatic and results-oriented approach to execution
