To strengthen our Quality Team at Swiss Cosmetics Production (SCP), a member of the La Prairie Group, located in Berneck (SG), we are looking for a team-oriented, reliable and self‑driven proactive personality to join us as a Quality Raw Material Specialist. In this role you play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our raw materials. The position contributes to safeguarding product quality and driving continuous improvement within the quality management system.

main responsibilities
  • Ownership and continuous improvement of the Raw Material Management System
  • Ownership of supplier evaluation
  • Execution of risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential quality issues
  • Qualification, auditing, and monitoring of suppliers to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Oversight of incoming goods inspection (IQC), including sampling and testing according to GLP
  • Leading deviation investigations (RCA) and implementation of CAPA measures
  • Ensuring adherence to GMP (ISO 22716), GLP, and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting and leading internal and external audits
  • Close collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, and external partners
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
  • Approximately 3–5 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment (cosmetics, pharma, or food)
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 22716 is considered a strong advantage
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and quality management tools
  • Strong analytical mindset and structured working approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very good written and spoken communication skills in German (at least B2) and English (fluent)
