Project Quality Specialist 80 – 100% (f/m/d)

Join our international project organization and drive quality across large and complex projects. In this role, you will work closely with project teams, customers, suppliers, and site organizations to ensure that quality requirements are understood, implemented, and continuously improved.

You will act as a trusted quality partner to the Project Manager, helping the team achieve project objectives, manage risks, and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines technical quality expertise with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the confidence to influence stakeholders across a global matrix organization.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Plan, organize, lead, and monitor quality-related project activities, resources, objectives, KPIs, and deliverables
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan and ensure compliance with contractual requirements and the ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, suppliers, site organizations, and other key stakeholders
  • Lead and follow up on project quality audits, non-conformances, corrective actions, lessons learned, quality risks, and continuous improvement activities
  • Monitor and report relevant quality indicators, including non-conformance reports, customer complaint resolution, cost of poor quality, project savings, and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate quality requirements for critical equipment, including supplier documentation, Inspection and Test Plans, Master Test Plans, inspections, and shipment-release reviews
  • Support site quality activities, including training, audits, inspections, documentation handover, and project close-out
  • Promote a strong quality culture and use structured problem-solving and lean methodologies to improve quality throughout project execution
Your background
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage
  • At least five years of professional experience in EPC project quality management within a large and complex organization; experience in the power, energy, renewable energy, or oil and gas sectors is preferred
  • Sound knowledge of ISO 9001; internal-auditor certification is considered an advantage
  • Good understanding on SAP Quality Module as well as project and risk management; knowledge of PMI methodologies or CAPM-PMI certification is beneficial
  • Experience with supplier and site quality processes, including Inspection and Test Plans, PPAP, inspections, testing procedures, punch lists, mechanical completion, and lessons learned
  • Knowledge of quality and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, root cause analysis, PDCA, 5 Why, Lean Six Sigma, and FMEA
  • Excellent English communication skills, combined with a structured, proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative working style;
    German or other additional languages are an advantage
  • Confidence working in an international matrix environment and willingness to travel to project construction sites and supplier locations when required
