Location: Birmensdorf
Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research WSL seeks a Scientific Assistant in Tree-Ring Ecology for a 1-year position, based in Switzerland. You will contribute to the EU OptFORESTS project, focusing on tree-ring width and density analyses and collaboration across Europe.
Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences or Forest Ecology, with experience in dendrochronology or wood anatomy and programming in R or Python.
