- Responsible for providing technical expertise to the customer and presenting Chemspeed automated solutions through representative scenarios.
- Responsible for analyzing customer workflows, drafting corresponding Chemspeed solution and generating price information and quotes.
- Contact person for the customer’s internal champion(s) to help assemble a comprehensive strategy for implementation of high-throughput techniques throughout the customer organization.
- Participation in early development & customization process with our R&D department by refining customers’ needs and conceptualizing different solutions.
- Participation in the organization and supervision of tests / proof of concepts as part of the pre-sales activities.
- Participation in the specification phase with know-how transfer to the R&D project manager.
- Preparation for evaluation and identification of emerging markets and/or emerging segments in line with corporate strategy.
- University degree or technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Practical experience with laboratory automation systems (e.g., parallel synthesis platforms or liquid handlers) and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand and communicate complex scientific and automation concepts.
- Ability to analyze customer processes and translate scientific requirements into innovative automation solutions.
- Strong customer-facing, relationship-building, and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently interact with clients and communicate technical solutions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and strong general IT literacy, with confidence working with software-driven laboratory technologies.
- Experience with CRM systems and marketing/publishing tools is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional languages would be an asset.
