The opportunity
The System and Automation team at the Swiss research center is looking for an intern student with expertise in data processing and visualization, software engineering, or software architecture to contribute to the development of a novel visual framework for variability management in large-scale graphical languages. The intern will interact with dynamic and multidisciplinary teams that will supervise and guide the project.

- Support the technology development and research activities in variability management for software systems
- Perform state-of-the-art and technology reviews:
Benchmark the achieved results against state-of-the-art solutions for the given application - Design, prototype, and/or integrate tools that support the scalable analysis and management of software variability via intuitive visual interfaces
- Disseminate and report your results with the teams, write technical documentation, propose creative and efficient solutions towards industrial implementation
- The candidate should be enrolled in an MSc program in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Control and Automation Engineering, or a related field
- The candidate should have a strong background in data engineering, software engineering, and/or software architecture
- Experience in Python programming, UI/UX and/or simulation tools for power electronics (Simulink, PSCAD, PLECS) are strongly appreciated
- Excellent communication skills, team player attitude, initiative, and creativity
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
