People Soft Tester – Time and Labor
We are seeking a detail‑oriented People Soft Tester to support quality assurance efforts for enterprise People Soft applications. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and executing test scripts, with a strong emphasis on automation using the People Soft Test Framework (PTF). The ideal candidate will ensure system functionality, performance, and reliability across multiple modules and environments.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts for People Soft applications.
- Utilize PTF to design and implement automated test cases.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using defect management tools.
- Support test planning activities, including test strategy, test cases, and test data preparation.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
- Participate in Agile or Waterfall development cycles as required.
- Provide clear and concise test documentation and status reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Hands‑on experience with People Soft testing, including People Soft Test Framework (PTF).
- Experience developing automated test scripts and executing test cycles.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Ability to analyze requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios.
- Experience testing People Soft HCM.
- Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
