Role Overview

In our Software Development Center, we develop a next‑generation Cloud‑ready solution that controls high‑precision laboratory measurement instrumentation and collects and processes measurement data. The software is distributed worldwide and supports multiple languages. To support our team at our global operating headquarters in Zurich, Greifensee, we are looking for an Intern AI in Software Development Center (100% full‑time, all genders). The internship duration is 3 months (or immediate start by arrangement).

Key Responsibilities
  • Bring innovative ideas inspired by the latest AI research, world trends, and automation opportunities.
  • Proactively challenge assumptions and ways we operate with AI, ask critical questions, encourage creative thinking and propose new approaches for AI adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with requirement engineers, developers, testers, Dev Ops experts, and support teams across the software development lifecycle on their usage of AI.
  • Ensure AI initiatives move beyond ideation to tangible Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and then successful rollouts.
  • Measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to verify that AI usage brings real value to our processes and products.
  • Ensure proper adoption and usage of AI tools, collecting user feedback to continuously improve effectiveness.
  • Assist in evaluating existing workflows, processes, and tools.
  • Recommend and help implement improvements to optimize ways of working and increase overall efficiency.
What You Need to Succeed

We are looking for a motivated student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

What You Bring
  • Strong enthusiasm for AI and its practical application in software development.
  • Basic coding and software development skills; understanding of software development processes and tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English;
    German is an advantage.
  • Ability to think critically, bring a fresh, innovative perspective and a collaborative mindset.
