Regional Emergency Solutions Specialist

JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. The Global Emergency Solutions Specialist will oversee the management and coordination of urgent cargo transportation across a diverse range of commodities, serving all our global industrial verticals and beyond.

The primary mode of transport will be airfreight, often requiring seamless integration with pre-carriage and on-forwarding solutions. In this role, the Specialist must ensure timely quotation, pick up, delivery and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction, requiring a deep understanding of global logistics, airfreight operations, and the capability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Providing a tailored transportation solution based on the customers’ requirements. Ensure the seamless execution of time-critical airfreight shipments, from initial booking to final delivery, maintaining strict adherence to timelines and client specifications. Continuously track the status of all active shipments to provide real-time updates as well as Pro-Actively identify occurring upcoming issues during the transport chain and pro-actively execute corrective actions to ensure a safe and in-time delivery of the cargo.

Employee will act as the primary point of contact towards the customers. Employee will have to prepare and be able to verify all necessary shipping documents, including air waybills and documents provided by the customer. Although working in a regional function, this position will require a close collaboration with the countries and branches in EU and overseas.

Able to read, write, speak, analyze, and interpret moderate business correspondence in English.
