Caregiver - Mornings at Home Instead

Calling all early birds! Our seniors need your help getting up and ready in the mornings. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional support to our senior clients in their homes, assisting with morning routines and daily living activities.

• Monday – Sunday 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. Willingness to transport clients as needed. Travel extent: west to Rochelle, south to Somonauk, east to Route 47 (Elburn/Maple Park), north to Pingree Grove.

• Provide one‑on‑one care, assisting with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Support clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and housekeeping.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Utilize behavior‑management techniques to ensure safety.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
• Maintain a clean, organized living space.
• Build relationships with clients and families, offering emotional support.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for continuity of care.

• Knowledge of ADLs and ability to assist with daily living activities.
• Ability to work effectively in a home‑care setting, managing challenging behaviors.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• $16 per hour; overtime and holidays paid at time and a half; mileage paid at $0.70 per mile.
• Paychecks via direct deposit twice a month.
