Production Scheduler

Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Production Scheduler to join their team. This is a high-impact role for a dynamic manufacturer to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate production schedules to ensure seamless material flow and timely delivery across all departments.
• Lead production control activities to minimize outages, wait times, excess inventory, and unnecessary changeovers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including production, purchasing, and project management—to optimize planning and scheduling.
• Monitor work order execution, proactively adjust schedules, and communicate potential bottlenecks or capacity constraints.
• Develop and maintain production plans and schedules to meet plant output targets.
• Utilize ERP systems (preferably Dynamics 365) for scheduling, forecasting, and data management.
• Champion process improvements and facilitate problem-solving initiatives.
• Encourage best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing, with at least three years focused on production planning and scheduling.
• Experience in custom or made-to-order manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency.
• Hands-on expertise with ERP systems;
  Dynamics 365 experience highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate skills across MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills—able to work with both technical and non-technical teams.

Compensation Range: $70,000 - $90,000
