Operator, 2nd Shift

Second shift position:
Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm in Sycamore, Illinois. The advertised hourly pay includes the shift differential.

We are seeking reliable team players with a strong work ethic to produce quality products in a high‑standards environment.

• Follow all safety procedures.
• Perform routine production tasks under the direction of the Supervisor and/or lead person, including forming, assembling, and packaging of products, as well as the setup and operation of various workstations.
• Use various tools and equipment as required, including hand tools, soldering equipment, assembly and test equipment, hand trucks.
• Monitor work visually and dimensionally using blueprints, engineering specifications, and job instruction sheets. Maintain quality and rate charts as required.
• Follow all quality procedures and instructions.
• Maintain housekeeping in the work area.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
• Maintain regular attendance to support teamwork, information exchange, and productivity goals.

• Must follow verbal and written directions, including assembly instructions and diagrams.
• Strong visual acuity and hand dexterity needed for packaging and assembling varied materials.
• Color and depth perception may be required for certain tasks.
• Ability to perform routine computer data entry and queries.
• Effective teamwork skills.
• Read and follow job instructions, complete written forms, and communicate effectively.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 10 lbs. for 9–10 hours per day; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.

• Temperature varies by season (hot/cold).
• May encounter humidity, noise, odors, dust.
• Safety precautions required to minimize mechanical hazards.

The rate of pay for this position is $20.00/hour, plus a 2nd shift differential of 6.5%. This represents a good faith disclosure of compensation, which is the fixed starting rate for this position.
