Position: Field-Based Grounding Supervisor at Valard
Take charge of grounding operations as a Construction Supervisor with Valard in Northern Ontario. This field-focused role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and crew management.

The Construction Supervisor will be an integral part of the Waasigan Transmission Line project, managing up to 10 crew members. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures, completing daily jobsite reports, and mentoring employees. You will collaborate with on-site Safety Advisors to maintain a safe work environment while addressing any arising issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage grounding crew activities

• Ensure adherence to safety and project protocols

• Handle daily reporting, including timesheets and quality records

• Mentor and coach crew members on safety policies

• Coordinate with Construction Managers on project scope adjustments

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction

• Knowledge of counterpoise installation and safety procedures

• Familiarity with FOP testing methods

• Blueprint reading skills required

• Experience using Meggers and Groudflex Units
