As an Estimator, your role will significantly impact the pre-construction phase, where you'll create competitive and well-documented proposals. Your ability to measure onsite, engage with subcontractors, and assess project risks is crucial to enhancing Thorpe’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Measure jobs and attend pre-bid meetings on-site
• Request competitive pricing from various subcontractors
• Evaluate risks, opportunities, and potential value engineering
• Build lasting relationships with clients and vendors
• Attend relevant industry events for continuous learning
Requirements:
• Over 3 years of experience in roofing estimating, ICI preferred
• Proficiency in flat roofing and cladding systems
• Strong self-motivated mindset for efficiency
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
