Join Clean Foundation as a Junior Coordinator focusing on Retrofit Operations this summer. Engage with community partners while fostering energy efficiency initiatives across Nova Scotia.
In this role, you'll be part of Clean Foundation's mission to adapt to climate change by promoting residential energy efficiency. The Junior Coordinator will support project flow and collaboration among homeowners, contractors, and municipalities. This position is perfect for individuals looking to bridge academic knowledge with practical skills in building science.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with coordinating contractor involvement in projects
• Maintain relationships with contractors to facilitate work
• Track and report on the progress of retrofit projects
• Support the review of contractor documentation
• Participate in field site visits as required
Requirements:
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in construction
• Basic understanding of building science and retrofit practices
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
