The School of Nursing at CBU plays an essential role in enhancing healthcare education through innovative research and community involvement. The successful candidate will participate in dynamic teaching experiences and contribute to curriculum development while fostering student engagement. Research opportunities will also be available, supporting the evolving healthcare landscape in Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach and mentor nursing students in diverse practice settings
• Develop and refine curricula based on current healthcare trends
• Conduct significant research projects in nursing
• Collaborate with community health organizations
• Engage in simulation-based teaching methodologies
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree completed or in progress related to health
• Minimum five years of nursing practice as a Registered Nurse
• Unrestricted RN license eligible for Nova Scotia
• Proven track record of teaching excellence
• Experience in maternal child nursing preferred
