Position: Full-Time Simulated Patient Educator Role
Advance medical education as a Full-Time Simulated Patient Educator at Cape Breton University. Lead the development of innovative simulation-based curricula for aspiring healthcare professionals.

As an essential member of the Cape Breton Medical Campus, you will design, implement, and assess educational programs for students and residents in medicine.

Your role involves recruiting, training, and overseeing simulated participants, instructors, and technicians, ensuring adherence to best practices in simulation methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and evaluate simulation-based curricula for medical training

• Train, supervise, and orient simulated participants and staff

• Integrate technology with various learning management systems

• Collaborate on curricular and extracurricular volunteer patient activities

• Serve as a representative on committees and key projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a health professional field

• Minimum of 7 years in health education and project management

• Knowledge of experiential learning principles and methodologies

• Strong communication and project management skills

• Proven ability to work independently in a team environment
