Join the Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education as an Early Childhood Educator. Support young children’s growth in a secure, engaging environment through play-based and developmentally appropriate practices.

As an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) at Cambridge District Elementary School, you will work closely with the Lead Early Childhood Educator to implement the Pre-primary Program.

Your role includes fostering a holistic approach to child development, promoting exploration and social interaction. Bring your three years of experience with preschool-aged children and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education to this collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Lead Educator to enhance learning experiences

• Support implementation of the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum

• Create inclusive and responsive learning environments

• Utilize child-centered, play-based pedagogies

• Engage with families from diverse backgrounds

Requirements:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education

• Minimum three years’ experience with preschool children

• Strong understanding of child growth and development

• Valid Standard First Aid and Food Handlers Course

• Successful criminal record check
