Position: Designer Technician for Mining Sector
Join BBA as a Designer Technician focused on Mechanical and Industrial Piping in Rouyn-Noranda or Val d'Or, Quebec. Work on key projects supporting the mining and heavy-industry sectors.

In this role, you'll be integral to our mechanical engineering team, assisting in equipment layout and design. You will manage both remote support for various BBA locations and on-site projects. Your expertise in 3D design and ability to create comprehensive drawings will ensure our standards for quality and precision are met throughout all phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical plans following established guidelines

• Conduct 3D design work for mechanical layouts

• Leverage point cloud technology in design tasks

• Coordinate with other engineering departments for effective layouts

• Produce detailed 2D drawings with specifications

Requirements:

• College diploma in engineering technology or industrial drafting

• Strong English and French language skills

• Willingness to travel for project assignments

• Background as a mechanical technician is a plus

• Valid driver's licence needed
