Nepean Dam or Warragamba Dam, Sydney.
Salary & TenureBase salary of $121,185 per annum plus 12% superannuation. Full‑time, permanent tenancy.
Qualifications- Strong desire to contribute skills and expertise to our business
- Identified as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and accepted by the community of origin, residence, or current locale
- Commitment to promoting and preserving Aboriginal culture and values
- Relevant experience engaging First Nations People with business, and well‑developed interpersonal skills for cultural heritage advocacy
- Demonstrated cultural heritage experience on infrastructure projects and in-depth knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and heritage
- Good understanding of government legislation and policies relating to cultural heritage and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander engagement
- Experience working with traditional owners, representatives, and communities, managing cross‑cultural issues to deliver projects
- Current NSW Driver's Licence
- Provide cultural heritage advice to multiple project delivery teams across the project planning lifecycle
- Liaise with registered Aboriginal Parties on cultural heritage, including field assessment of risks to support project delivery
- Promote and maintain effective relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities, and Traditional Owner groups
- Provide information and advice to stakeholders on relevant legislation, Water
NSW policy, procedures, and cultural heritage requirements - Advise on management of unexpected finds and cultural heritage-related incidents in line with Water
NSW policies and legislative requirements
