At Dillon, we are in the midst of a tech-driven evolution, and we are looking for a Manager, Digital Design & Delivery to fill an existing position, who will lead the development of our firm‑wide digital design practices.

This position can be based at any one of our Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Brandon, Saint John, Fredericton, Moncton, St. John's offices.

Reporting to the Director, Practice Operations
, you will join a culture where innovation is encouraged and your leadership will directly impact the quality and efficiency of our national operations. You will work through a network of discipline leaders, digital champions, and subject matter experts across the firm, supported by Practice Operations and our IT team. We are looking for a professional who can set a clear direction for our digital future and ensure our teams are aligned and supported as we grow.

As a key leader in Dillon’s Practice Operations team, the Manager, Digital Design & Delivery is responsible for the ownership, evolution, and consistency of the firm’s digital design standards and governance framework. This role is essential to our digital maturity, ensuring that CADD, BIM, and related platforms are used effectively and consistently across all technical disciplines.

In this role, you aren't just managing tools; you are leading the transition toward a more consistent “Dillon Way” of digital project delivery. You will collaborate with practice leadership and technical teams to establish a sustainable support structure, manage strategic vendor partnerships, and ensure our digital workflows are scalable, efficient, and future‑ready. Digital design deliverables must also be aligned with the needs of our diverse range of clients, and will be informed by our technical teams and through direct client engagement.

You will have accountability for establishing and governing enterprise standards, ensuring adoption across practices, and providing clear direction on how digital tools and workflows are applied in project delivery, including clear decision‑making authority on enterprise standards, tools, and delivery delivery approaches.

Success in this role will be defined by the establishment of clear enterprise standards, improved consistency in project delivery, and the successful adoption of digital workflows across practices.

Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Leadership & Alignment: Establish and maintain a robust, firm‑wide digital modeling framework, including CADD, BIM, and Data Standards, designed to move beyond basic output toward a data‑driven delivery model.
  • Ensuring that our digital workflows and deliverables are aligned with client needs and standards across a diverse range of Practices.
  • Develop a comprehensive framework that promotes the adoption of enterprise templates and workflows to reduce regional silos and manual rework.
  • Navigate organizational transitions by building consensus among technical leaders and demonstrating the value of standardized practices.
  • Provide the oversight necessary to ensure that enterprise standards are integrated into project delivery and QA/QC processes nationwide.
  • Establish mechanisms to drive adoption and ensure adherence to enterprise standards, including integration with project start‑up and QA/QC processes.
  • Practice & Resource Integration: Partner with practice leadership to identify and work through a network of practice, discipline, and team‑based leaders and subject matter experts to ensure a clear path for standards adoption and technical feedback.
