Position: Special Projects Coordinator for Athletics at CBU
Enhance Cape Breton University’s Athletics as a Special Projects Coordinator. This full-time term role is focused on event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and supporting departmental priorities for athletics.

In this 18-month position, you will play a vital role in the planning and execution of special projects and events. Your collaboration with internal teams and community partners will significantly impact the experiences of student-athletes and their engagement in university athletics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee athletic events and fundraising initiatives

• Foster relationships with student groups and external partners

• Support departmental operations including marketing and safety

• Manage logistical arrangements for teams and travel

• Provide comprehensive administrative support and document management

Requirements:

• Required post-secondary diploma; degree is an asset

• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written

• Proficient in time management and multitasking

• Understanding of university sports dynamics

• Proven skills in information technology and Microsoft Office
