In this key nursing role, you'll supervise Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers, ensuring all residents receive high-quality care. Your responsibilities include leading shifts, documenting changes in conditions, and processing physician orders promptly. Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate nursing services for residents
• Lead shift reports and health care team discussions
• Document changes in residents’ conditions promptly
• Review and process physician orders effectively
• Communicate order processing difficulties to leadership
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
• Registration in good standing with provincial registry
• Knowledge of relevant nursing legislation and standards
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
