UNSW's School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences is hiring a full-time Research Associate for groundbreaking research until July 2027. This role emphasizes independent and collaborative research in microbiology. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct and support research initiatives in microbiology
• Develop analysis pipelines for microbiome data
• Undertake specific research projects under supervision
• Participate in conferences and workshops
• Supervise research students as required
Requirements:
• PhD in microbiology or bioinformatics
• Expertise in metabolic modelling with multi-omics data
• Advanced understanding of microbial physiology
• Proven ability to create bioinformatics pipelines
• Track record of research publications and presentations
