Homeward Bound Project Research Manager

Lead the research management efforts for Cape Breton University's Homeward Bound initiative. This hybrid role focuses on enhancing healthcare and social support for aging populations in rural Nova Scotia.

Cape Breton University is looking for a Research Manager to implement and oversee the Homeward Bound project aimed at supporting aging individuals effectively. You will be responsible for supervising the project's financial health while ensuring compliance with various institutional protocols across a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee financial activities related to the initiative

• Create and monitor research project budgets

• Assist with ethics applications across institutions

• Facilitate collaboration among research teams

• Document and report on project statuses

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing substantial research budgets

• Strong background in interdisciplinary team management

• Proficient in MS Office and collaboration tools

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
