Position: The Shoe Co. - Assistant Manager
Assistant Manager – The Shoe Co.  We are seeking an Assistant Manager to report to the Store Manager and help lead the store environment, fostering inclusivity and delivering a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities   Lead the store team and create exceptional customer experiences.
Model a shopping experience that encourages responsive customer service and compelling merchandise presentation.
Manage store operations, balancing company policies, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent.
Enhance The Shoe Co. brand image by demonstrating values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity.
Develop and implement agile business plans to achieve results.
Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
Maintain effective, open communication with the Store Manager.
Qualifications   Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets.
Proficiency in computer use, including e‑mail, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while delivering a compelling customer experience.
Minimum 2–3 years of progressive retail supervisory experience.
Willingness to work days, evenings, closing shifts, and weekends.
