Airport Pre-Board Screening Officer Ensuring Passenger Safety

Become a cornerstone of airport security by working as a Pre-Board Screening Officer. Your primary focus will be to secure the safety of travelers by adequately screening passengers and their belongings.

In this important role, you will be responsible for ensuring that only permitted items enter the secured areas of the airport. You’ll also manage restricted access areas, respond to alarms, and assist in emergency operations, reinforcing airport security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen travelers and their possessions thoroughly

• Ensure security regulations regarding non-permitted items

• Control restricted access to sensitive areas

• Respond to alerts and report any irregularities

• Participate in emergency operations when necessary

Requirements:

• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

• High school diploma or GED required

• Clean criminal record; eligible for RAIC security clearance

• Minimum age of 18 years

• Willing to relocate to Sydney before starting the role
