Be part of Purolator's team in Sydney, Nova Scotia as a Courier/Sorter with a flexible shift schedule. This hybrid role blends package delivery and logistics operations.
You will play a key role in ensuring packages reach customers seamlessly, balancing dock operations and on-road deliveries. Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, scanning for accuracy, and inspections to enhance safety. Your proactive problem-solving skills will be crucial in navigating delivery challenges, while your physical strength supports efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pick up and deliver packages as scheduled
• Load and unload trailers efficiently
• Scan and track packages throughout the day
• Collaborate with Dispatch on road challenges
• Conduct vehicle inspections as required
Requirements:
• High School diploma completion
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license essential
• 3 years of driving experience required
• Knowledge of shipping operations mandatory
• Ability to lift weights up to 70 pounds
