Contribute to the logistics team at Fed Ex Canada as a Package Handler. Engage in loading, unloading, and sorting freight while ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
This temporary Package Handler position, lasting up to 12 weeks, requires keen attention to detail and physical strength. Candidates will engage in freight handling, including lifting packages up to 70 lbs and maneuvering heavier items with equipment. Familiarity with Fed Ex Canada operations and customs regulations is beneficial but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and unload freight efficiently within the facility
• Scan and sort freight to streamline processes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
• Complete mandatory training and maintain accreditations
• Work varying shifts based on business needs
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Bilingual (French and English) if residing in Quebec
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork
• Ability to lift and move packages safely
• Valid driver's license for pertinent roles
