OB/GYN – Western North Carolina

Harris Regional Hospital located in Sylva, NC, a member of Lifepoint Health, invites an OB/GYN to join its dedicated Women’s Care practice. The role supports a rural community with high patient volume and comprehensive OB/GYN services.

• Collaborate with a team of three OB/GYNs and five Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs).
• Provide first‑call coverage (1:4 call rotation) with a requirement of eight days per month.
• Deliver high‑quality obstetric, gynecologic, and labor‑and‑delivery care to an annual volume of approximately 650 deliveries.
• Ensure timely anesthesia coverage (30‑minute response time) and access to a dedicated labor‑and‑delivery OR equipped with Stryker 4K Video Towers, Myosure Tissue Removal Suite, Novasure Endometrial Ablation Unit, and Enseal Device.
• Participate in a Level II Nursery program and collaborate with a neonatologist on the unit.
• Engage in continuous medical education and practice growth initiatives.

• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in OB/GYN.
• Active medical license in North Carolina.
• Excellent clinical skills in OB/GYN, labor, and delivery.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and quality improvement.
