Job Description
Mammography Tech -
DescriptionResponsible and accountable for Mammography and Radiology Procedures as appropriate for his/her training/experience and field of study/specialty. The Technologist will be responsible for carrying a clinical workload commensurate with the department's workload in addition to other assigned duties.
Must demonstrate above average intelligence, accuracy, ability to cooperate, neat and pleasant appearance, promptness and industry in keeping with the prestige and image of the department and the hospital.
Qualifications- Must be registered or registry eligible by the ARRT for all positions within Imaging Service.
- Must be Mammography registered or registry eligible to perform mammograms. Mammography registry must be obtained within one year of practicing full‑time in that field.
- If working in dual modalities consideration will be given to extend this period for obtaining specialty registry on a case‑by‑case basis.
- Current BLS certification maintained.
