About the OpportunityHarris Regional Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network serving communities coast to coast. As a Registered Nurse (RN) joining our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional care for mothers and newborns.
Our 14‑bed Women’s Services Unit includes a Level 2B nursery with 6 beds and an 8‑bed L&D/Mother‑Baby Unit. With an average of 50 deliveries per month and a low C‑section rate, the unit provides comprehensive care and supports a positive birthing experience.
How You’ll Contribute- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Perform timely and accurate QI assessments

What We’re Looking For- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or a compact state.
- AHA Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
