American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience plus one prior travel assignment.
Requirements- Active RN license (NC or compact) currently in hand
- AHA certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of OR experience plus completion of at least one travel assignment
- Experience required in C-Sections, Ortho, General, Urology, GYN, ENT (peds & adult), Pain, and Dental (peds)
- Submission requires Social Security number and date of birth on file
- Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of submission
- Operating Room setting within an acute care hospital
- 7-bed OR unit with 1:1 patient ratios
- 10-hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Call coverage required only to cover PTO days for dedicated call RNs
- Uses Hana table, trauma table, Enseal, Myo Sure, Nova Sure, Kabtec, and Neoprobe equipment
- Charting is done in Paragon EHR
- Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties
- Join a unit known for its family-oriented culture
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
