Fountain Drink Technician

Overview

As an S&G Fountain Drink Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and quality of commercial S&G soda fountain equipment. Your responsibilities will include the safe disassembly, thorough cleaning, repair, and reassembly of beverage dispensing units.

• Interpret and follow detailed instructions based on customer and company specifications
• Safely disassemble soda fountain units using hand, power, and pneumatic tools
• Clean and sanitize all components to meet quality standards
• Inspect, repair, or replace defective parts as necessary
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Polish and refinish stainless steel surfaces
• Reassemble units and conduct operational testing and quality control checks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Capable of performing detailed mechanical work requiring fine motor skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work under team leadership
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
• Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, and reaching
• Repetitive hand movements and manual dexterity
• Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull moderate to heavy loads
