• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – required before first shift
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification – required before first shift
• Minimum 1 year of recent bedside clinical experience in a Med/Surg or acute care setting (2 years preferred)
• ICU and critical care nursing experience required
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for all patients within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans; identify and address patient/family teaching needs
• Deliver direct patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
• Participate in patient rehabilitation and discharge planning to ensure optimal outcomes
• Communicate patient status changes promptly to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff
• Promote patient and staff safety by adhering to hospital policies and best practices
• Foster a positive team environment and participate in unit team-building activities
• Assume charge nurse duties as needed after orientation
• Pursue ongoing professional development and continuing nursing education
