Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Toledo, OH. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care within a progressive care setting, ensuring patient safety and delivering individualized care plans. The RN will supervise clinical staff, perform assessments, and contribute to the patient rehabilitation program, adhering to safety and clinical standards.

• Schedule:
  
  Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Certifications, Education, and
  
  Experience:
  
  BLS Certification required prior to first shift; ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only); ICU experience required;
  Critical Care experience required; 0 years of experience required; specialty in Progressive Care Unit.
• Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, developing patient-centered care plans, providing education, ensuring accurate documentation, participating in discharge planning, and communicating patient status to the team.
• Provides direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel, delegates appropriately, and participates in team-building activities.
• Maintains a focus on safety, including safe patient handling, infection control, and hazards, as outlined in hospital guidelines.
• Promotes cost-effective patient care while monitoring supplies and charges.
• Assumes charge responsibilities following orientation and actively pursues professional development through continued education.
