Merchandise Processor - Sylvania

Merchandise Processors are responsible for preparing, tagging, and placing merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring that customers have access to the best selection possible. • Tag, label, hang, package, and place merchandise on the sales floor in the correct department by size, style, and color according to company standards.
• Maintain merchandising standards to ensure an organized and customer-friendly shopping experience.
• Backstock inventory as needed using inventory management tools.
• Reprint tags as necessary to ensure accurate pricing and information.
• Sanitize select merchandise with fiber fill as required by law.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude toward team members and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to stand for 4–10 hours and perform repetitive motions such as tagging, typing, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, walking, and lifting.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and climb a ladder as needed.
• Attention to detail for inspecting and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.
• Availability to start shifts early, before normal business hours, approximately 8am. Store opens at 10am.
