Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at
S&G. The Technician will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing operation and
maintenance of all equipment and facilities at our gas station. This role requires a
proactive individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and
efficiency.

A company vehicle will be provided for travel purposes.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on gas station equipment, including fuel pumps, air compressors, plumbing, electrical systems, and refrigeration units.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before
  they become major problems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work
  performed, parts used, and time spent.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize
  downtime.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement preventive
  maintenance schedules.
• Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a gas station or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
