The Medical Assistant works to assist clinicians in providing health care at clinic locations. A Medical Assistant serves the patient and all members of the health care team by gathering and maintaining the necessary medical information in a cheerful, friendly, personable manner. This role provides quality patient care and helps to establish rapport between the clinician and patient.

Specialty: Mohs Surgery - Dermatology

Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 Hours per week between 7:30am & 6:00pm.

• Obtain patient histories and vital signs and record accurately in the Electronic Medical Record.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment and document chief complaints.
• Retrieve laboratory and radiology test results and instruct patients regarding medications and treatment per clinician's instructions.
• Stock supplies and prepare exam rooms and instruments for examinations, testing, or minor surgeries.
• Potential for heavy phone usage. Respond to incoming phone calls and refer if necessary. Call patients as necessary to follow up and/or schedule appointments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience.

• 1+ years of healthcare office experience.
• Experience in a medical office setting.
• Experience with PC and Microsoft Office.

• Medical Assistant Certification.
• 1+ years of experience working as a Medical Assistant performing front and clinical back‑office duties.
• Experience working with EPIC EMR software.
• Experience in a Mohs surgery dermatology setting with strong knowledge of high-level disinfection protocols for surgical instruments and equipment.

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $27.69 per hour based on full‑time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
